We’re a little over two weeks into the new year. For those of you that made some resolutions to improve your health and wellness but fell off the wagon, perhaps this post can inspire you to get back on track with things.
In 2021, I was out of shape, battling high blood pressure, and just not in a good place. I decided to pay John Paul a visit. He did an assessment and started me on a new fitness and nutrition regimen. It worked great!
After about a year, I wanted to crank up the intensity. As JP put it, “If you want accelerated results, you’ll need accelerated demands… but you better be able to recover from it,” so he tweaked a bunch of things, suggested some recovery techniques that are found in his great book Mass Explosion, and the results speak for themselves. I lost 10 lbs. of fat and gained over 4 lbs. of muscle in 3 months! I’m pretty well back to the weight I was back in high school – over 35 years ago!
Take a look at the results. I’m currently hovering around 16% body fat and striving for low teens by spring – which is definitely doable by following JP’s comprehensive approach to overall health and wellness. The man is a walking encyclopedia in this area!
If you want to improve your health and get in shape in the new year, you need to take action. Don’t procrastinate! Trust me, I waited too long to do this, but I’m in a good place now.
By the way, I just got a copy of JP’s new book Invincible. I can’t recommend it enough. Wish I had this years ago – I could have avoided many injuries!
