How To Read An Hour A Day Without Using Your Eyes

People often complain that they do not have enough time to read. For these individuals, I recommend audiobooks. The average person commutes about thirty minutes to and from work each day. That’s around 250 hours annually spent in the car just going to work alone. Do this for five years and you’ve accumulated enough time for the equivalent of a college education! There’s no excuse not to read. If you don’t want to use your eyes, then at least use your ears!

I’ll often listen to lectures or podcasts while driving as well. This morning, for instance, I listened to Dr. William Wong’s talk on Systemic Enzymes. I used this neat application called iSkysoft Free Video Downloader to download the video from YouTube, and then I burned the file onto an audio CD. Tomorrow I’ll listen to one of my favorite podcasts, Revolution Health Radio with Chris Kresser. You get the idea.

Take advantage of the time you spend in transit to learn more because the more you learn, the more you earn!

Note: My popular talk, The Business of Personal Training, is now available on Kindle.
